Bruce A. Nicholson is a partner at Duffy North. Bruce is an experienced attorney with more than four decades practicing law and has an extensive background in the areas of real property, zoning and land development, elder law, wills and estate planning and administration, business law and estate and trust settlement. Bruce was the Solicitor for the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Montgomery from 1993-2013.
He has had the pleasure of representing many businesses, individuals and families over the course of his 43 year career.
EDUCATION
After attending The William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Bruce graduated from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government. Bruce received his law degree, cum laude, from Boston College Law School, Boston, Massachusetts.
VOLUNTEER AND COMMUNITY WORK
Bruce is an avid presence in the communities where he lives and works. Bruce is a past chair of the YMCA branch in Hatboro, a founding member and past chair of Main Street Hatboro. He has served on the Vestry for his Church and as District Chair for the Boy Scouts of America. He has been elected to and served on Borough Council in Hatboro.

PERSONAL
Bruce was raised in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and he and his lovely wife of 46 years, Linda, reside in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. They are the proud parents of two children, Jessica, a medical doctor and Bart, an engineer. When they are not sailing small boats competitively, you'll find them biking the Schulkyll Trail, the Perkiomen Trail or throughout Pennypack Park.
